Is is possible to change fonts on a page without changing the theme?

I am using 2010 and I want a cleaner font.

Create a child theme for your changes. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

I would like to do the same. I had a custom theme built and coded and I hate the font. What is a child theme? Also, I can’t get the text in my posts to format correctly. How do you control this?
