Changing color scheme

Hi im very new to all of this. I’m building my first site, actually and am learning as I go. I’ve been thrilled with your theme and am so grateful for you laying this groundwork.

I’d like to change the color scheme a bit, I’m not sure if this is possible, but what I’d like to do is to change the splash color of the slider image title. So that instead of being the default primary color option it can be one that I specify. Is there a code I can insert to make this happen? And how would I do that?
