So here’s my challenge: I’m using Simple Press Forum on my site (love it!!) and require users of it to register and be approved by an admin. I’m using the Register Plus plugin to amend the registration screen and to enable moderation. These two plugin are working fine together.

When a user registers they receive a custom email letting them know that their account will be aprroved. That’s good.

When I approve the registration, they get this email, presumably from wordpress:
“Your account has now been activated by an administrator.
    Username: test1234
    http://www.middletnwritingproject.org/wp-login.php”

This is what I want to change. How can I do this? I found a plugin that I thought would work (New User Email), but it over rode what Register Plus was doing.

The site is http://www.middletnwritingproject.org should you need it.

    THANKS!

  • The text ‘Your account has now been activated by an administrator’ is found at line 530 in register-plus.php

Please remember to backup your plugins files (which should be normal procedure) before upgrading that plugin in the future. Updates will ‘blow-away’ your manual changes.
