    Same question? WHY isnt the changelog edited accordingly?

    two new contributors were added, should do a lot of work in the next updates.

    Hi, I’d like to clarify that. The 3.0 release is line-to-line identical to the 2.5.16 release; it only features new contributors, so no changelog.
    New code (and changelog) will come in the next releases. Cheers!
