Changeing order of posts

    How do I change the order of my posts so that they show up in chronological order from newest to oldest. I realize that this is the default when you install wordpress but somehow this has been changed when my host switched my SQL database. They say it is my probelm to fix but I can’t seem to find the files where I can change this parameter.

    Any ideas?
