Change upper menu color

  • I’d like to change the color of the upper menu. In the example the upper menu is filled with the subjects Logo ‘Home, Gossips, Trending, Humour, Lifestyle’. I’d like to change it from grey to white, but I have no idea where I have to change the code. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.

  • Hey,

    Go to the (style.css) in the appearance section

    Search for “#header” in the style.css sheet and change the “background-color:#F5F5F5;” to “background-color:#FFF;”

    #header {
      background-color:#F5F5F5;
      background-position:initial initial;
      background-repeat:initial initial;
      float:left;
      padding:0 0 0 2%;
      position:relative;
      width:98.1%;
    }

    Don’t forget to save and that should work well !

    Probably better to recommend doing that through a CSS plugin, than editing the theme’s style.css file. Otherwise, you know when the theme updates all those modifications will be erased.

    Hi, our themes already comes with inbuilt Custom CSS option where you can add your own custom CSS.

    You can find that option in Theme Options Panel >> Styling >> Custom CSS
