Change the post display daily

    Hello All,

    Am looking for a wordpress plugin on wordpress codex where in I have option to change the post display on daily basis.
    The WordPress Popular Post plugin has that option but I don’t need that plugin so am looking for particularly WordPress Codex where in I can show 1 post of particular category with its thumbnail and excerpt. This has to change daily.

    Kindly refer any plugins or any wordpress code.

    Any help much appreciated.
