Change the base search URL

    Hi,

    I have seen several articles about this but can’t seem to get this right.

    I want to do the following for the search page URL structure:

    1) Change the base search URL from example.com/?s to example.com/news/search (with a sub-folder before /search) and make it so you can just navigate to example.com/news/search without a search term in the query string

    2) If there is a search term, rewrite the search term from ?s=example+term to /news/search/example+term

    Yon, you have to set your permalinks on the dashboard.

    Dashboard => settings => permalinks.

    which one you wanna like to be used you can there.

    Hi Abhishek,

    You can’t set the search page URL structure in the permalinks settings.
