Change text are font color

I would like to change the font color in the text areas from gray to black. I know how to do it through the theme’s default file, but that changes all font set to the default color to black. I have a black background, so that’s not going to work. A work around would be to simply change the color of the text with every post or page, but I’m handing this off to my client soon and would like it to be as simple as possible for him.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
