Change Required for Photonic?

    Hi,
    While I don’t use the plugin, I am the author for Photonic. I believe a recent change in Photonic might require you to make an edit to your integration code. The method build_gallery no longer exists in Photonic, so if both the plugins are simultaneously activated, you might end up with an error.

    Thanks for your report! The current MLA version does indeed fail with the latest Photonic version.

    I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20170122 that restores compatibility with the latest Photonic version and all previous versions. To get the Development Version, follow the instructions in this earlier topic:

    Shortcode not working in (special) widget

    It would be great if you (or anyone else affected by the problem that finds this topic) can install the Development Version and let me know if it works for you.

    It has been two months since the last post in this topic. I assume the most recent version of MLA has resolved the issue.

    I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any further problems with MLA/Photonic integration.
