    Hi there,

how can/what do i need to change the permissions to in my godaddy ftp manager to within the wp-config.php so that custom contact forms can create the necessary temp folder for the file upload?

and would this change be web user permissions or owner permissions? I know this may sound like a dumb question, but i really dont have a clue.

    thanks

  • Add / create the directory ‘uploads’ in the custom contacts plugin root directory. set to 755 or above (depending on server). RESOLVED.

    example: /public_html/wp-content/plugins/custom-contact-forms/uploads

Your looking for Permissions for files and directories. This should be in your FTP program. Sounds like a GoDaddy issue more than a plugin issue.

Seek support from GoDaddy or Google the issue. I’m sure it’s out there.

Editing the wp-config is NOT part of a resolution.

    Good Luck,
    James
