Change navbar-toggle active button colour

    Hi again,

    When the screen is below a certain width I noticed a button which drops down the menus, I would like to change its background colour when clicked, is this possible with a CSS insert?

    I’ve tried 

    .navbar-toggle .active {

background-color: #ffffff;
}

    with no success
