    Yes, sure thing. Add the following custom CSS to your gallery:

    .foogallery-default a {
    background-color:#f00 !important;
    }

    That will go in the custom CSS metabox and it will make the hover effect red. Change the color to your taste

    thank you for your message but i did this already on circle hover efect but i see square shadow behind circle thumnails.

    I changed my gallery to circle border and it worked 100% for me. What is you URL?
