Yes, you are right. The Delivery section should be displayed after the shipping methods in the case when the position is selected as “After shipping address”. This is the option you should keep using.
For when the position is selected as “Before order notes”, that is already in the correct position.
I made the necessary changes to the plugin and they will be available with the next update 1.5.8.

The version 1.5.8 has just been released with the fix for the delivery date section position.
These are the same changes as the beta 1.5.8-beta-2.
You mentioned in your last message that the beta version did not work for you.
1. Could you confirm that you have switched between the field position values to see if the section appears in the correct position?
2. Are you using the free or PRO version of “WooCommerce Delivery & Pickup Date Time”?
