Change author?

I have an editor uploading photos for her photogs and she can’t assign their names as the authors to the galleries. Does she really have to log out and log back in with the other person’s account? That seems convoluted considering you can assign an author to stories and other aspects of WordPress. Doesn’t anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.
