• It would be great if we could add alt text, caption, description and similar stuff about media on multiple pictures at the same time.

    Lets say I upload 30 images of clouds and I want to type Clouds for alt title, currently I have to do it for every image separately 🙂

    There are general problems with conveying images in CMSs that already exist:
    – An ‘alt’ field for an image in one place of the dashboard suggests that is not flexible to be used accurately;
    — An image might be in 3 places at once and require different alt text, for example:
    — 1) A cat image by itself in a post may contain the alternative text of “cat”, if the author wants to convey that to someone;
    — 2) A cat image-link that leads to another post may contain the alternative text of “[post name]”
    — 3) A cat image on a page only used for decorative purposes may not contain alternative text so that it can be ignored by assistive technologies (but still contain the ‘alt’ attribute)

    The problem that I can foresee with your suggestions is that these general problems will be multiplied for each of the fields, and then multiplied for each additional image.

    I don’t think you can shortcut the alternative text step. It is a pain if you’re fixing someone else’s website or you’ve forgot to add alternative text as you were going along, but can that be said for any non-mandatory field?

    Hehe, I just think it would be useful thing for a lot of people, without making a fuss about it 🙂

    I agree, it would be useful for a lot of authors who are in the positions that I’ve mentioned. I’m emphasising that it wouldn’t benefit the readers of the website.

    i know now, thanks for explain
