CF7 email: not working

Contact Form 7 is working OK but users email address is deleted from message.
if I remove the <> from email: <[your-email]>, then it appears in the received notification but (obviously) not as a useable link.It isn’t a big problem as I can copy and paste but it is a minor nuisance.
Anyone any ideas?
