    Dear Admin,

I was using your plugin for quite a long time. Today for some work I needed to deactivate all my plugins. But after reactivating the really simple SSL plugin can not detect the certificate. But I have a valid let’s encrypt certificate.

I am using Dreampress with Cloudflare. I have enabled SSL full and always redirect to HTTPS in Cloudflare. Can you please help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You can select “Override SSL detection” in the activation notice. Then you can activate even if the certificate is not detected.

Thanks for the reply, I tried that already. But it tells me that your SSL is 50% complete. There is an install certificate prompt. When I try to install the certificate manually, I am getting an error http://www.stockmaniacs.net/.well-known/acme-challenge/really-simple-ssl-permissions-check.txt is not accessible. But in FTP I can see the file.

As you already have a valid SSL certificate, you do need to install it manually.

If you have checked the “Override SSL detection” checkbox, then clicked “activate SSL”, the admin notice should disappear, and SSL is activated.

Did you click the “activate SSL” button after enabling the “override ssl detection”?

This is what I can see https://imgur.com/LToO7K5

    Is it OK?

As SSL is already activated, you can dismiss this notice by clicking on the [x] on the right.

Can not see any [x] on the right. Can I still ignore what I see?

Yes, you can ignore it. But on your screenshot I see an x to the right, which you can use to dismiss. It’s below the “remaining tasks” text, at the same height as the notice.

    Ok got it. Thanks.
