Certain pages within Admin not loading

    Hi,
    Hopefully someone can help me with this strange problem I have…

    All of a sudden my admin is acting a bit strange. I can create a post but if I try to edit a post and click ‘Update’, it just gives me a blank page (but with the correct url).

    There are other sections of the admin area that do this such as when I try to send an email to all other users (from a plug-in that I installed), it just gives me a blank page but with the correct url showing.

    What is strange is that if I try to edit older posts, it lets me update them… weird.

    If I try to edit any recent posts, I get the blank page. If I create a brand new post as a test and then try to edit that, it gives me a blank page.

    I have downloaded the latest WordPress and replaced my wp-admin folder with the new one and the problem is still there.

    Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – increasing your available memory?
