Center theme and adjust container width

    Hello

    I’m looking to center the container of the theme so it’ll appear that there is some padding on both sides. I’m also trying to make the main container only 600px wide or at least reduce it by some percentage to look like it is. Everything I’ve tried will either make it look ugly on mobile or push the right side bar down.

width: 600

    This made the container 600 but it seemed to mess with the responsive settings. Then did the same for .container and it didn’t work either..

    Is this possible?
