Causes Problems with Ads

Litespeed Cache will cause your AdSense Page Views to inflate and your revenue to drop. It took me over a year to work out why my Page Views were inflated. I assumed it was bots and spent day after day, week after week adjusting Cloudflare settings and WAF rules when what I needed to do was disable this plugin.

Here is Google’s explanation as to what happened to me:

The issue was caused by a timing loophole created by LiteSpeed Cache’s JavaScript optimization settings combined with Cloudflare. When automated bots hit your site, your Cloudflare WAF successfully caught and blocked them Cloudflare Dashboard. However, because LiteSpeed was dynamically delaying your Google Analytics and Statcounter scripts while letting Google AdSense scripts fire immediately, the AdSense code executed a split-second before Cloudflare dropped the bot connection. This caused AdSense to log a ghost Page View Google AdSense Dashboard without ever loading the full page or serving an ad impression, artificially inflating your ad metrics while your analytics tools correctly showed clean, human traffic. Disabling LiteSpeed restored the proper script execution sequence, closing the tracking loophole completely.
