    Hi!
    I have been using this plugin as its the only one I’ve found that lets me protect content, while still showing excerpts in a latest post widget
    I’m been using the protect by category rules with a standard membership
    Its all beeen working fine, but today I’ve found that the site is totally visible and unprotected despite all categories being set as Protected Categories, only visible by logged in Members
    I’ve tried disabling all plugins, reinstalling but nothing works
    Any ideas?

    And I think I’ve found the answer – there is a conflict between “Individual Posts” and “Category Protection” add ons – ie – you can’t run both at the same time
    Hopefully this will prove useful for anyone else who is getting the same issue

    Yes, that is true. Only one can be enabled at the same time.
    But this was reported to our developers and they prepared fix for this issue in next plugin version.

    Hi Kasia – glad to hear it
    Just a quick note to say that we tried numerous paid and free membership solutions and that Membership 2 is definitely one of the best with an excellent interface and rules system
