• Having a strange issue with one of my category pages.
    When clicking on the link for the category page (electronicsmain.com/category/weekly-mobile-tech-news/)
    the page is about half the width of the entire site. If I choose a single post, it’s fine. Where can I find a place to reconfigure the (for lack of a better word – landing/main page) to make it as it was?

    Don’t know how or when this happened, anyone have a suggestion?
    Thanks for your help

  • I just tried it with the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera. It appears to be rendering properly.

    weird, I did a total scrub with an eraser on my Chrome and it still looks the same to me. If it’s looking good to visitors, that’s a good thing. Anyone have a minute to do the same? Would appreciate hearing back from others how it looks. Thanks

    same thing with I.E.

    OK, I just re-read your post again and realized the width is too wide.
    Unfortunately right click functionality is disabled so its harder to find the right element, give me a little time.

    appreciate you getting back to me, but only the weekly-mobile…

      category link

    serves up a page half the width of all others.
    I just tried a second machine, and the only browser I see it as I’m accustomed to, is in Opera. I could take down the click ban.

    Just for clarity, all category pages render identical on the browsers I tested.
    Here’s an image of the way it renders.

    that’s what I need to see. your screen resolution is a little lower than on my main machie, but it looks the same. like I said the individual posts are full screen like your image, just the category link /page is reduced to half screen.

    this is what I see when I pull it up

    but the bookmark is not out of the margin/sidebar

    I get an error 1011 when clicking that link.

    sorry, I forgot about the hot-linking protection I have on
    the jist of it is that it isn’t full screen.

    any ideas? I can drop the click ban

    can you link to the exact page the problem is on?

    This is it but it may be the same as what you’ve seen on your end already. If you want to look at page elements, I can defeat the right click functionality block.

    Try this in a child theme or custom css

    #doc3 {
        max-width: 100%;
    }

    I’ll give it a shot. Have to clear and redo the domain cache to see any effects. Thanks for your time and brainstorming.
