Category and Tag URL

    Hi,

    I built a form to use as a filter/search which generates a URL depending on the categories and/or tags selected in the form, and reloads the window to display the posts with the generated URL:

    siteurl.com/category/aCategory,anotherCategory/tag/thisTag,thatTag/

    Which was perfect, but has suddenly stopped working. However the url still works if it’s just for categories or tags ie:

    siteurl.com/category/aCategory,anotherCategory/

    and

    siteurl.com/tag/thisTag,thatTag/

    are both still working fine, but the URL with both categories and tags is not working. I’ve re uploaded htaccess, cleared the cache, resaved permalinks settings about 100 times and no dice. Any ideas, anyone?

    edit: to clarify, I’ve tried it in twenty fifteen, same problem, and have no active plugins
