Categorizing Pages Under Top Menu
-
Hello Everyone!
I am currently setting up my menu and organizing a few pages on a travel blog I have just started http://livingleashless.com/
For lack of better words, I would like the posts that I make to be organized under the child pages of the parent theme.
In order to get across what I’m hoping to do, I’ll spell it out:
On the top menu of the homepage one of the options is travel 101, and in the drop down menu below this, there are child options of packing, supplies, etc. I would like to organize posts within these subcategories in the drop down menu. But when the main option of travel 101 is clicked, I would like all the posts in the child categories to be listed in chronological order under the parent, travel 101. If possible, I would also like to have a paragraph of text under travel 101 that is sticky and stays constant as more posts are added below.
Does this have to do with setting up categories? That’s my best guess right now with my nooby knowledge thus far.
Obviously I am very new to wordpress and appreciate your guy’s help so much! It’s people like you that allow the internet to progress and grow, so thank you so much for helping me figure out how to set up my blog!
