categories of posts

    I have installed 3 languages (CN, KR, EN) and for each I have added a translation. But for each translation post I have to add new categories. The problem is that my theme has prebuilt page featuring function (selects posts that it will feature on the slider) based on the selected category.

    The main pages were created in English and then translated into Chinese and Korean. Even when I change the language to Korean or Chinese the featured posts in the slider are taken from the English part of the web as the theme slider is considering only the post categories from there (even if I add the same name category within the CN/KR translation).

    Any ideas?

    You have to translate your categories, which also means that they will have different category ID. In this case, you have to edit your theme.

    Did you set this slider in page setting or theme setting?
