Categories not saving

    I’m having troubles with the default wordpress categories saving for my custom types. It defaults to the “Uncategorized” category, which is fine. When I go and uncheck “Uncategorized” and then check whichever other category I actually want and hit “Update,” the subsequent page reverts back to only the “Uncategorized” category checked. I tried this with existing posts and with creating a brand new one and they all revert back to “Uncategorized.”

    I’m also using a dreamhost vps if that helps. Are there certain settings I need to configure on the vps to make this work properly? I tried a very similar import on the sandbox that you can create (http://www.wpallimport.com/try/) and the import seemed to work properly, with the one caveat being I imported as a “Post” in the sandbox whereas I have a custom type I’m importing to in my particular instance. I tried importing as a “Post” to my site, but that still failed.

    Apologies for the late reply.

    I didn’t encounter something like this before. Did you check for a plugin conflict ? You might have something affecting this functionality.

    Can you modify the post content, title or other parts ?
