Categories not editable in admin

    I am unable to edit categories in the admin area of my site; I don’t think I ever had that option. When I hover my mouse over a category, it’s supposed to show me “edit” and “quick edit” etc. There is nothing.

    I have a screenshot of the screen I’m describing, but of course it didn’t capture my mouse hovering over the first item.

    I couldn’t find anybody else who described this problem.

    When I uploaded a complete new WordPress site (except for wp-content, wp-config.php and .htaccess) didn’t that also replace all the files in the wp-admin/css folder as well?

    I checked to see if I could make a different user an administrator and possibly get the Edit Category page to display the Name of the category, and guess what! It worked!

    So I deleted my original admin username from the new admin user and then put the same admin back in as a new user and problems solved. Don’t ask me how that works
