carousel titles not showing

I’m trying out the jetpack carousel feature but am having some issues, most importantly I cannot see the image title to display. Here’s a test gallery…

The ony image that dislays the title is the third one, where the title has been edited, rather than inherited from the file name.

I may want to use the gallery feature to upload client galleries, these could have 50 or more images and I don’t want to have to edit the title manually for each one to get them to display !

Also, shouldn’t there be a tool tips type hover function as well?
