Caption shortcode images stripped out

    We’re still using the WordPress Classic Editor via the plugin, which uses [caption] shortcode. It seems that these [caption] shortcodes are stripped out of posts and are completely missing from the resulting JSON being sent to Apple News. How can we get the plugin to correctly handle images found in [caption] shortcode?
