    Hi,

I have converted my galleries with the beta version of the new editor and I have 2 problems :

    1. I’m not able to modify the text of the caption. it is always returning to the original wrong text (including \ and span codes).
    2. The lightbox is showing two images at the same time (superposition of the captions)

It was working fine before the conversion and now I’m unable to go back to older version.

Thanks you in advance for you help.

    Best regards

@simoncotelapointe – it looks like you’re trying to display both v3 and v2 galleries on the same page and that’s why it’s not working.

However, when converting to the new v3 editor, a copy of your old galleries is made so reverting back to v2 is as easy as deleting the v3 gallery (make sure you’ve confirmed the v2 gallery is still there).

Please let me know if you need further help – additionally – you can contact us here: https://wp-modula.com/contact-us/ if you need to send photos of the problems you’re describing.

    /Cristian.

Hi Cristian. Thank you for the fast response.

All the Galleries in the page are v3 format and I don’t see the v2 formats copies in the list of galleries.

    Is there other potential solutions?

    Best regards,

    Simon

@simoncotelapointe – the problem you are seeing seems to come from a plugin that is doing “debloat” or JS contact

    https://simoncotelapointe.com/wp-content/cache/debloat/js/ea3f4174d3f360612ca14b2f483757a8.js

If you open up your site’s console you can see a bunch of errors there. Once these are fixed, Modula galleries should render just fine.

    Hello again.

Thank you for your help and fast response. I deactivated the plugins that could be causing the problem and tried other solutions, but with no success. Maybe the problem is the Evolve theme. I plan on eventually changing the theme, but I don’t have the time right now. For the moment, I have rolled back the plugin to version 2.14.39 and it is working again.

    Best regards
