Capability for “Your Profile”

    Hi! This is an amazing plugin!

    I need to give an author the ability to change their password, but “Your Profile” isn’t visible.

    What capability allows editing of “Your Profile”?

    Hi,

    WordPress by default shows ‘Your Profile’ admin menu item to any logged-in user with ‘read’ capability, including user with ‘author’ role.
    Some other plugin or custom code from theme’s functions.php file may be involved.

    Thank you, Vladimir!

    I thought “Read” applied to the page and post list pages, and didn’t realize it applied to the sidebar with Profile. All set!
