What happens when you try to upload images?
It won’t upload at all. RIght now I still have 2.8.1 I tried to upgrade to 3.3.1, thinking that may be the problem. but, when I try to login, it tells me my host, username and/or password is wrong…
What exactly happens – in detail – when you try to upload images?
nothing. i choose a photo, click upload, and nothing happens
Is an entry created in your Media Library? Have you checked to see if the image is uploaded to wp-content/uploads using FTP?
In the past I have always just tried to upload from My Computer
I don’t really know what al of that means…
Can you help me verify my username/hostname/and password? so that i can upgrade?
They are your FTP login details. You will need to verify these details with your host.
i guess this is ridiculous, but I set this up 3 years ago and don’t remember who my host is. Can you tell me how to find that out?

No – that would appear to be your hosts. If all all fails, check your bank account statements and see who you’ve been paying for hosting for the past 3 years.
