can't upload images to posts – where's uploads folder path?

    Add media files from your computer
    Unable to create directory /home/.chanelle/myserver/mysite/wp-content/uploads/2011/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    I get that error when trying to upload a image. Used to be able to go into ‘media’ before and change the path to the uploads folder, but I can’t find it. Was replaced with media library. How do I fix this?
