Try to switch to multi-file uploader by clicking on “switch to multi-file uploader”.
in tried, but error shows again..:(
Actually I noticed it first when i tried to update my logo.( I’m using Geneses framework)
I can’t see what is the issue…
sorry
I’m having this same issue. It’s getting frustrating.
I’ve tried deleting files to see if it was a space issue, but nothing seems to work.
This is the error – “St Andrews Bulletin Corel Draw Version – October 21.pdf” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/wpmu/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/118/files/2010/12.
solved it.. I changed the permission of ‘upload’ folder inside wp-contents from 777 to 755. My hostzilla support person said Since the server has suPHP installed 777 will be blocked by Apacheand i
will need to check the folder permission and set it to 755.
bofinbau: I’m a bit of a code-dummy so I don’t know what any of that means. I’m trying to upload directly on WordPress via browser. Does that fix still apply to me? How do I go about using that information?
standrews: it’s simple..login to your c-panel -> Filemanager
–> pulbic_html –> wp-content
then select blogs.dir, click on File permission, change the value to 755
Solved the HTTP error for me but now it’s crunching forever.
