Can't upload an image

    I’m somewhat new at Word Press. I’ve had this problem before. When I try to upload an image into my blog post I get this message:

    Unable to create directory /var/www/”blogname”/wp-content/uploads/2011/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    I don’t know what this means. Can anyone help?

    Your folder “Uploads” is not writable. You need change it to set 777. If you use FTP server so go to folder and rightclick and select Permission or whatever you use ftp program. When Uploads is writable then you can upload your image.
