i got if fixed, i disabled all the plugins and then try to update,
working great. can i remove the hotfix (3.1.3 0.5 hotfix?) from the plugin list?

cause the getshopped e-commerce plugin had a bug with the 3.1.3 and i could not see my media, there was a bug
In that case, leave the plugin active.

but now when the hotfix is deactivate mode, the getsopped plugin works great with wordpress 3.1.4…
I also cannot upgrade to WordPress 3.1.4, I keep receiving the error:
Warning: copy(/var/www/wordpress/wp-content/themes/twentyten/loop.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 200
Not particularly fond of the idea of a manual upgrade =/
