Can’t set basic settings

    Hi there! In order to set up the calendar I can’t go through the basic settings setup. The first step “first-time-setup” doesn’t get any further. It says “saving” until time out. I’ve set set WordPress time to “Berlin” and the time zone in the calendar setup to “Berlin” too. What could cause this issue?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I tested this on my own site using the latest version of The Events Calendar, and the first-time setup worked as expected on my end.

    If you’re having trouble saving your settings during the first-time setup, I recommend updating to the latest version to see if that resolves the issue. If you’re already on the latest version, the problem may be due to a plugin or theme conflict.

    If possible, please try temporarily activating only our plugins and switching to a default WordPress theme, then run the first-time setup again. Once you’ve saved your setup, you can reactivate your other plugins and theme.
