Hello Julie,
I am not using WooCommerce at all but I recently did a check of the plugin to make sure it works with normal posts. And it did. Do you still experience that issue? You basically can’t use it at all?
Or can I replicate it very easily? I will try.
Yaniv, if you have any idea, please tell us 🙂

Thanks for the reply, Jordy 🙂
I’m not using WooCommerce either, and like many others, I was unable to set a category permalink once WooCommerce support was added. I can’t quite remember the details now, but they’re all in the thread 😉 Version 1.4 is working great, but I’m concerned about potentially missing out on security updates, new features, etc.
To be honest, I just noticed that one or two versions of the plugin have gone by which I haven’t tested. (That’s why I asked Yaniv to update this thread when there were new updates, because I didn’t know there was anything new for me to test…) I’ll test out the latest version, but it might be a few days before I can report back to you.
Cheers!
There was no specific security update or any specific support added, the version before the changes was actually very good I believe 🙂
There were many hiccups when WooCommerce support was added though, that’s true, but I think now it’s perfectly fine.
Maybe you can give it a try, yes, please tell me if it works. Otherwise we’ll make it work 🙂

Hi again Jordy, sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I finally found the time to test the latest version, 2.2.6, and it works perfectly! Thank you 🙂
So just to be clear, the last version I had tried, 2.2.3, still didn’t work, so something you did after that fixed the problem. Fantastic!!
Just too bad it took me so long to try it out… Lol!
Haha, that’s a good news! Thanks for sharing 🙂
