Can’t save any settings

    Hi,

    I just can’t use the plugin, I can’t save any of my settings…

    It always block on a “Value is incorrect” red alert on values I did not even changed yet.

    Hope you can help quickly as I need to use a age gate for my website now.

    Hi @alexsandros,

    Which settings is it fussing about? I’m about to have a look at them from another request so if there’s any that are being problematic and what the values are that’d be really helpful.

    Hi Phil,

    Unfortunately it’s not.

    I still can’t save at the apearance settings page.

    When saving it says “Value is incorrect” again and highlight the “Custom page title” field at the bottom, while I did not change anything except the color of the background.

    Ok now, it’s even worst,
    people can’t get in the website…!

    This is URGENT.

    I’ll be waiting for your reply, hope you can fix this quickly.

    Here a screenshot of a visitor trying to visit our website :
    Saying he can’t visit the site even when clicking “YES” (more than 18 yo)
    The error message in english is : “you are not old enough to see that content”

    If your are having real problems, please downgrade the version to 2.21.1. You can download it here.

    I am working as hard as possible along side my actual job to resolve these issues.

    @alexsandros you have some nerve considering this plugin is offered for FREE and you updated without doing any testing of your own.

    I think I’ve worked out why certain users couldn’t access. It’s an older browser issue so will work on a fix for it.

    Hi @alexsandros (and @embercide :))

    Both the issues here have been resolved.

    The validation was just too strong in the back end as while accented characters (for example) were allowed, other punctuation was not. It is now.

    On the clicking yes but getting no, some older browser didn’t have support in the form event to say which button was clicked. I primarily saw this in older Safari versions on both mobile and desktop. Have added a support for those old browsers and tested in ios 12 and on safari 13 and both working as expected now. Same should be the case for anything else that doesn’t support it.
