can't run install.php

    Hi,

    I’m trying to install WordPress…

    I unziped the files… uploaded the entire folder into my public_html..
    I use hostgator

    I get this message when I open install.php in my browser:
    Error: PHP is not running

    WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.

    What should I do now!?
