Your login here is totally unrelated to your site, so that’s not a problem.
To reset your password for your site, see:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
You will need to have access to your site files on the server or to your database to do so – ask your hosting company for help if you don’t have that set up.
Have you recently changed your nameservers or anything related to your domain name – as the page that’s visible is not a WP page or message. Have you checked with your hosting company about this?
I have not made any changes to the site in months. I contacted my hosting company and they have the DNS settings pinging to 72.52.147.96. I had all of the files for the website on my word press site and the hosting company only pinged to the IP address where my files were located. I just don’t understand why I can’t log into my word press site and also my site is not working at the same time. I thought the email address on file to reset the password was mine but it is not working to reset it. Is there any way to tell the IP address of the word press site and if that was changed/redirected to the above IP address? I think that is why my site is not showing up online but I can’t log in to check the files. Is there anyone I can talk to about reseting my password? I looked at your link above to reseting the password but I am not receiving the emails when I reset it and I have no access to the FTP files because they are on the site.
I have no access to the FTP files because they are on the site.
You have to talk to the hosting about that – FTP is not part of WordPress – but you should be able to use that to look at what is on your server. You should be able to find the WP folders/files.
hii,
do you have access to the DataBase?
If yes, then
1. just login to DB
2. Go to wp_users table
3. Edit the user details
4. In user_pass field, just select the function as MD5 and give any password
5. Just login with the new password
this will work..!!
