The comment was not in my dashboard. Is there something that keeps me from replying to a comment made after it gets through the filter?

nothing should inhibit the admin of the site
try deactivating the spam filter temporarily and test it
I did that and the same things happens. I write a reply, hit the submit button and nothing. The reply doesn’t show up in the comment section and It stays on the same screen when I hit the button. I don’t think the commenter even got my reply sent to them.

When I receive a favorable comment, I want to rely to it but when I write the comment in the window provided and click the submit button nothing happens and I can never get the reply to post.
