Can't recover SQL backup to WordPress

    Earlier today we faced a problem whilst trying to change our own domain name to host our WordPress.org/Localhost. Just before we had made a SQL backup to our hard drive. After the recovery we managed to get WordPress running without any themes and now we are facing difficulties to bring the backup to WordPress – we have tried to google and search solutions to our problem but nothing seems to work. We have even tried installing backup recovery helping plugins and starting from the basics but these also give us just errors. Could you please help us with some instructions so we wouldn’t have to start everything from the beginning and could get the backup file running in the program so our webstore could be published!

    hey there

    just to make sure i have all the details

    before migration:

    self-hosted wordpress with mysql access

    post-migration:

    is it now hosted at wordpress.org?

    other questions:

    do you have mysql access to your new host?
    do you still have access to the pre-migration install?
    –>if yes have you tried using the export tool (Dashboard–>Tools–>Export)
