If you changed your user name/password, see:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
Note that your site login info is not the same as your login on this site (unless you happen to make them identical).
Thanks for your quick reply.
I’ve tried changing my password but I am not receiving password reset emails anymore. I’m now logged in on my php.admin and tried changing my password there via wp_users (according the codex instruction) but for some reason the password keeps changing back to a large code. I’ve also changed my email adress back to my original address (the one I used before I changed it on my admin panel yesterday). No results.
best,
Sandra
Have you checked with your hosting company? It sounds like the email function may not be working.
I’m using a gmail account on my login. Through php.admin I’ve changed it back to that email address and in my wp_users tab it now looks like this.
user_email varchar(100) sandra.apperloo@gmail.com
user_url varchar(100) http://www.artisticmoods.com
Could it have anything to do with the url? I’ve also tried deleting cookies, turning off my firewall etc..
Okay, I’m receiving emails from WordPress in my gmail again and changed the password. But I’m still unable to log in with the new password. I’m getting the same ‘bad request’ page every time. Is it possible for anyone else to have a look at mu php.admin to see if i’m missing something?
Thanks again.
And I’ve deactivated all the plugins to rule out any issues with them. Just keeping you updated:)
I’m in kind of a hurry with this as I need to be online tonight so i’ll be opening a new topic. I’ll let you know if it’s solved and then close this one. Sorry.
Next time, please do not open a new thread – that’s not how these forums work.
