Can't logging via iPad app

Hay guys,

I’m trying to logging via the iPad app but it isn’t working. I get a notification saying: ” Sorry we can’t you in. No WordPress blog is four on this URL.

Sorry if the message is not completely correct. I get in dutch.

Is there anyway i can solve this. The user of this site is going away for 6 months next thursday.

The URL is http://www.priscillavandenberg.nl.

I’ve tried with and without http://, with and without the www and tried the login page which is http://www.priscillavandenberg.nl/wp-admin

I tried adding the site (with a bogus username/password) to my WordPress app and it keeps loading “Authenticating” for a long time, and then indeed comes back with “Unable to find a WordPress site at that URL”.

Do you have any plugins installed that may be interfering? Security plugins perhaps?

That’s exactly the problem i get.

There’s only 1 plugin. Checkbot – a anti spam plugin. Could that be the problem. Because the app did work like 4 days ago and all of a sudden it refuses to work.

You can try to disable the plugin, and see if that solves the problem. I doubt it, but you never know and it’s worth a try.

Did anything change in the past 4 days? Updated plugin/theme, changed any settings?

Perhaps XML-RPC services have been disabled (they need to be enabled in order to be used with the app), either by you or the anti-spam plugin — I’m getting an error when I go to http://priscillavandenberg.nl/xmlrpc.php?rsd

Nothing has been change since the app worked.

I’ve deleted all plugins, but it’s still Authenticating and then showing the error.
Where do i check the XML-RPC services?

It should be on by default. This may be helpful: http://apps.wordpress.org/support/#faq-ios-3

You could also check with your webhost, perhaps they changed something on their end in the configuration.

What if i can’t check if XML-RPC is on because is’t not under Setteing-writing???

the web host company didn’t change anything. They just installed wordpress for me.

The installed a default wordpress for me.
I tried checking the XML-RPC but there isn’t any XML-RPC option under setting-writing.

Please help me. My friend who wil be using the app will be gone tomorrow for 6 months…

I’m at a loss to be honest. The URL http://priscillavandenberg.nl/xmlrpc.php?rsd is already inaccessible from here, so that’s probably why you can’t log in using the app, but I can’t say why.

If you disable all plugins, and revert to a default theme (TwentyTwelve, TwentyThirteen…), can you access http://priscillavandenberg.nl/xmlrpc.php?rsd then?
