Can’t Log-In…NEED HELP!
-
I’m having some major problems logging into my WordPress. Everytime I try to log-in, it redirects me. However, it doesn’t redirect me to WordPress but to my site. I cant log-in at all….is there any way to fix that?

Sounds like there’s a redirect in one of your .htaccess files.
Log into your web hosting control panel. Check the .htaccess files (if you have them) in your root directory and /admin directory.
Look for any kind of redirect or code which contains the page you keep redirecting to. You can comment out those lines by putting a # in front of them to test if removing it fixes the problem.
If this is something that’s happened out of the blue and you haven’t changed anything, it’s possible your site was hacked.
Thank you! I’ll definitely try that, and hopefully it works!
Also what happens when you change the link of where you’re blog is supposed to be:
For example- it’s originally yoursite.com/blog and then you change it to yoursite.com/somethingelse
Thanks again for the help!
That’s doable, but not as easy as it may seem. Your database will need to be updated with the new blog address.
Here’s a video on our site on how to move WordPress into your root directory. It’s not exactly what you’re looking to do, but very similar as you’d need to do basically the same thing except rather than transferring your blog to your root, you’re just moving it to another directory.

http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_DirectoryWell….I think I may have changed the URL already, but by accident. I changed the URL when I was actually logged into WordPress.
It was in the ‘Settings’ section when I logged in, and there’s two URLs there. I changed both, but I don’t think I was supposed to do that. I think that’s why I can’t log-in to my WordPress now– not just that, but the theme disappeared too. Here’s an exaplme:
This is my site: http://www.masteraines.com/blog/This is what the log-in page looks like: http://www.masteraines.com/blog/wp-login.php
This is what it keeps defaulting to when I try to log-in:

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
It worked! Thanks again for the help! Can anyone please tell me how to get it to work again WITHOUT putting these two lines in the wp-config file?
I had the same problem as above when fooling around with the settings. The fix just above did it, so at least I could log in, but I am trying to make the link at the top of the Kubrick/default be for my homepage but the blog is contained in and named for its own folder.
Thanks.

P.S. I guess I’ll have to post this elsewhere. Like many, I have widened the default theme–but I want to keep the grey sidebar. Can’t seem to do it. I really don’t care about the sidebar on all pages. (Here’s the theme I’m using; http://www.cenolan.com/2008/11/wordpress-default-theme-1024-wide/comment-page-1/)
