    Hi there,

I’ve ran into a strange issue, I’m not able to install, update or delete plugins trough the back-end. Via FTP it’s possible, but I’d like to be able to do it trough the back-end. It sounds like a file permissions thing, but I can’t really find the wrongdoer.
It’s a really annoying issue and maybe you guys can help me out, it would mean a great deal!
    Thanks in advance!

The plugins folder (wp-content/plugins) needs writepermission. Subfolder and files too if you want to be able to update.

Okay, I’m here once again, I’ve made a video of what’s happening. Don’t worry, it’s only 28 seconds. My file permissions look fine, I have everything set the exact same way as I have on another website I run, which works perfectly fine. I really have no idea what to do and it’s really inconvinient. Will you guys take a look?

So, this happens when I update, install or delete a plugin. No progress shown, nothing really happening. Trough FTP is fine, but I’d like to be able to do it trough the back-end

Hm. I’m gonna kick the topic. I have to fix this, but I have no idea where to start.

Well. I freaking fixed it. The FTP data was missing in the wp-config.php file. I added the data and now I’m able to do it all. Freaking happy I am. Thanks @rollingwolf for thinking with me
