I already tried that site… It says ‘due to recently high demand, they are not performing installations’. Does anyone know how to help me install it or could walk me through the process?

Well it doesn’t matter, I signed up for HostICan and it installed fine… I just can’t login to wordpress because I still have a random theme from my old webhost… Frustration…

I can’t install either – and I consider myself a semi-veteran having done this over a dozen times – some things have changed. I followed the quick install instructions as usual. I copied over all files, excpt those in the content folder, making sure not to overwrite my themes or plugins.
The site comes up fine: (markgould.net), but I can’t get into the admin area. I’ve searched the net and found at least one other person who had no trouble with 2.5 but has problems with 2.6. When I try to log into admin I get ;
( Fatal error: Cannot redeclare validate_file() (previously declared in /home/content/a/r/t/artb0yyy/html/wp-includes/functions.php:2238) in /home/content/a/r/t/artb0yyy/html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 59 )
As mentioned the install4free site is down.
I may have to go back to 2.5 if I can. If there is some help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

I got it to work, after a few hours, my site went up, it was just because my old site was still in effect for a day.
Also, a guy from HostICan called my cell phone without any warning or without me ever asking for help and was wondering if everything was going okay and I was able to ask him for help. It was totally random, but so helpful. They have great support over at their sight so I would suggest EVERYONE check it out if you are looking for a host, or to change hosts!
