can't i have numeric field

    Actually I have products which have a fixed price and a variable price, variable price is dynamically calculated at back end. I want to create a field which will contain fixed value of my products, then this fixed value will be finally added to the value of my regular price which i am getting after calculation via plugin gold price, to get final value of the product.

    Pl. tell.
